Negatives attitudes toward children with autism are an important barrier to school inclusion. Despite the increasing amount of research, no psychometrically sound scale reliably measures these in young students. Our aim was develop and validate a tool (Children’s Attitudes Toward Autism Questionnaire) evaluate (three dimensions) students elementary peers autism. Elementary ( N = 204) completed Children’s Questionnaire two other scales assessing behavioral intentions mental disability (Shared Activities Questionnaire-B) familiarity The confirmatory factor analysis first showed satisfactory model fit χ 2 /df 3.65, root mean square error approximation 0.114, adjusted goodness index 0.970, standardized residual 0.067, comparative 0.967, non-normed 0.963) internal consistency for each dimension good (>0.70).
